Raganya Ponmanadiyil

Raganya Ponmanadiyil is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University, a Master of Education in Developmental Psychology from OISE at the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Science from McMaster University in Psychology and Neuroscience. With over 8 years of experience in mental health care and education, Raganya has made meaningful contributions to the lives of children, adults, and families across Ontario.

Raganya brings a comprehensive approach to her practice, specializing in supporting individuals on the Autism spectrum, those with learning disabilities, and individuals dealing with ADHD, depression, anxiety, burnout, and self-esteem challenges. Dedicated to providing compassionate and effective therapy, she draws from a diverse range of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Raganya emphasizes a person-centered approach while integrating techniques from CBT, ACT, SFBT, EFT, and mindfulness-based approaches.

Her personal philosophy centers on fostering a safe and empathetic space where clients feel empowered to explore their innermost thoughts and emotions. She believes in the transformative power of self-awareness and resilience, guiding individuals towards healing and growth with compassion and understanding.

As a daughter of immigrants and an Indian-Canadian, Raganya understands the cultural challenges faced by minorities navigating multiple cultural identities. These experiences bring a unique perspective to her practice, emphasizing cultural sensitivity and understanding.
